I’ve been trying to email multiple people for five days now, and I ordered a pullover four days ago and haven’t received a shipping notice. I’ve also tried sending a message on Facebook and Instagram, along with commenting on random posts- no luck. I hope I still get it…

    Hi Jessi-James Grey, ‍♀️
I could truly relate to the personal article written about your own battle with Fibromyalgia, Migraines, Anxiety Disorder (panic attacks) etc., all of which I experience as well. The first symptoms I noticed followed an MVA in ‘93 wherein my vehicle was at a near stop idling due to construction on the highway and a couple hit me from behind at fast speed. Afterwards, The physiotherapist called it ‘Fibrositis’ back then’ and the condition was so little recognized or respected by Doctors. A few years later at age 30. I developed Crohn’s disease and experienced most of its extra-intestinal complications; with the exception of 2 blood infections upon TPN application in a hospital which almost killed me. In that process, I also contracted Staphylococcus Aureus bacterium which made skin disorders worse and would complicate other health issues going forward. I was never the same. You nailed much of how I have felt in masking my symptoms, being sick of complaining about being exhausted, unwell, having ‘brain-fog’, hitting a wall: like being struck, stoned—way beyond fatigued—unable to do minor self-care (let dogs out, brush teeth, wash face, take meds, get ice paks, set-up heating pad etc.) Reading your piece, at times, I felt like we were one of the same. It’s been 30+ years now for me and both society and the medical profession don’t seem to have advanced in this subject much. Stigmas, Misogyny, Non-Treatment … it’s enough to make me want to stay in bed at my rental home doing what little I can. Thankfully my Husband is a good caregiver, when not at work as an RPN. However, as life’s stressors have gained pace on us, he is less patient and expects more help. “Baby steps” suddenly has turned into full housewife duties which, as you know, is a pipe-dream at this point as we have 3 pets as well who need care-giving. It’s overwhelming and I am suffocating. After this rant, I don’t blame you if you choose not to, however, if you would like to contact me, please do. You can reach me at (519) 242-4848 or email
    kams5fb@gmail.com or
    kdsali2@gmail.com
In the meantime, keep up the good work you are doing at “Sweatpants ‘n Coffee”, stay strong-willed and as positive as you or I can be on any given day – a crapshoot
    Kind Regards,
    Kim Sali
