“The Widow Waltz,” is a gem of a read. It is a funny, touching, incredibly entertaining, and often wry look at family life.
Directions: This is one of those novels that will have you laughing one minute, then crying, and angry the next. It is an examination of family and how relationships can change in the blink of an eye. As Georgia’s family deals with their grief over the loss of her husband in different ways, they discover that this man was was not at all what he seemed and it is time to find the strength within themselves to move on with their lives, learning to trust and love again. Bottom line: this is a terrific novel about reinventing yourself after 40.
Special Instructions: Take with food and drink, curled up in your favorite chair next to the fireplace. Alcohol and carbohydrates highly recommended.
