This refreshing drink would be at home on the dinner table, but it would go just as well with your brunch. Blackberry jam and biscuits are a perfect pair, right? This Blackberry Lemonade Whiskey Smash works wonderfully as well.
- 5 oz. lemonade
- ½ oz. Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Honey
- 1 oz. blackberry brandy
- Mint leaves
- 1 tsp. brown sugar
- Blackberries for garnish (optional)
In a small dish, muddle the mint leaves. This doesn’t mean confuse them, it means mush them up a bit. Some people have an actual muddler, but if you don’t, you can just use a spoon to smoosh them until you can see the juices being released. Put mint leaves and brown sugar in the bottom of a glass. Separately, mix together lemonade, Jack Daniel’s, and blackberry brandy. Pour into glass over brown sugar and mint. Pop in a few blackberries, which are both decorative and delicious. Cheers!
