Over the last couple of years I have had the pleasure of working alongside of some really wonderful companies. And it’s not just the awesome products or delicious coffee that is so wonderful, it’s the people running the show. Their stories of triumph and of building something from almost nothing hits us right in the feels over here at Sweatpants and Coffee. We don’t just believe in these products, we’ve become a long distance community.

So, I’d like to show them off (again) as some pretty killer gift ideas for the ones you love. These picks are tried and true. Fantastic products from even more fantastic people.

Death Wish Coffee

They are known for their crazy-good, ridiculously strong coffee, but I love them because they also have kickass merchandise. Their mug designs are always unique and beautifully hand made. Like their holiday mug below, depicting A Christmas Carol and a matching ornament with their twist on Tiny Tim and Bob.

Christmas Mug and Ornament

And who doesn’t love an ugly Christmas sweater? Except theirs is decked out in Death Wish fashion.

Last but not least, their Rum Ball Barrel Coffee. Aged in rum barrels and roasted with chocolate and vanilla, it’s literally to die for. And there’s tons of other cool stuff at their Merch Shop, so go check them out!

Cross Country Café

One of our favorite Mom and Pop type shops, Cross Country Café offers killer prices for bulk coffee, tea, and brewing thingamabobs. Brewers, mugs, thermoses, and deals galore. They have a section of gift ideas, like a Cross Country Gift Card, which is really the gift that keeps on giving. They also offer K-cup of the month memberships. Choose from two different options and the coffee will be on its way every month! You can check out all their options and merchandise here!

Live Simple Tees

These tees have become my new favorite comfy tee. They have the cutest designs and the softest fabric that never seems to lose its shape! I love that the shirt looks and feels the same as the day I got it. And they are always rolling out new designs. For example, this Merry Christmas Truck tee in red heather rocks my socks off. I mean, look at that truck! Only buy these if you want to make people jealous with tee envy. Trust me, it’s a thing. Go check out all of their adorable designs here!

RawSpiceBar

This was something new I got to try. RawSpiceBar is a monthly spice subscription box. Each month you get three handpicked, fresh ground spices that are from a specific country. This month was Ethiopia. I would’ve never thought you can use both Pumpkin Pie Spice and Berbere (a traditionally spicy seasoning) hand in hand. You even get three different, kitchen tested recipes to help you use your new spices. This is a win for both food lovers and people who want to learn how to cook. Check out the Ethiopian Box here. You can subscribe here and see what boxes they’ve sent in the past!

Feejays

Feejays has ruined all other types of sweatpants for me. How can you not love sweatpants with feet? Not just any feet, SHERPA LINED FEET. They are the embodiment of what comfort is all about. Perfect for cold winter mornings, nights on the beach, or even out camping. I love that I can just slide my boots right over them and they’re like insta-socks. Warm and convenient. They carry both adult and childrens’ sizes in an array of colors. Go check out what they’ve got here.

BeanBox

Oh, BeanBox. You never disappoint. If you love to try new, artisan-style brews, then this is the gift for you. Every month, you get a box with 4 different handpicked coffees from our friends in Seattle. You know, where all the coffee seems to be born. The freshness is guaranteed since the coffee ships out no more than 48 hours after roasting. Right now, you can get the World Coffee Tour Box. It contains 16 gourmet coffee samples from some of Seattle’s best roasters, with tasting notes, roaster profiles, as well as a few brewing tips to ensure you get the best cup. Check out all the coffee goodness here!

Heart and Brain by The Awkward Yeti

This has quickly become one of my new favorite reads. Not, like, front to back kind of read, but more of an adulthood-is-a-trick-and-I-want-out kind of read. The Awkward Yeti puts on paper what we are all doing on the inside. The fight between responsibility (Brain) and spontaneity (Heart). You follow their grand adventures along with a few other friends. This is a great gift for anyone who just wants to laugh and feel understood. Check out his shop here. Don’t wait! Happiness is just around the corner.

The book is out. Hope someone buys it. A photo posted by The Awkward Yeti (@theawkwardyeti) on
