“Poetry is just the evidence of life. If your life is burning well, poetry is just the ash.” ― Leonard Cohen
Everywhere you look, people are writing poetry. Some of it’s good, some of it’s terrible, and all of it comes from that same well of creativity you dipped into without even thinking when they handed you your first box of crayons. In celebration of National Poetry Month, we went looking for poetry art you can buy right from the artist. Here’s some of the beauty we found:
Hubble Typewriter Poem by Tyler Kent White
The Blooming of Madness poem 99 by Christopher Poindexter
Friends Made of Paper by Cory Basil
Broken by Marisa Crane
Fire Refusing To Be Named by Amanda Torroni
Letter From My Heart To My Brain by Rachel McKibbens
This is not available as a print, sadly, but we love it and urge you to check out more of Rachel McKibbens’ work in Into the Dark and Emptying Field.
Cory
