I can’t believe how quickly the weather is going from summer to fall. The nights seem to be cooling down faster and the days are definitely getting shorter. So, it was kind of perfect timing for me to check out the Summer Tea Selection from New Moon Tea Co.

The first one I tried was this Hibiscus Punch Tea. It is floral cut with citrus. Straight after steeping, I took my first sip and the flavors bloomed together; warm and fresh.

And I had to try at least one of their cocktail mixes so I did the Summer Nights Cucumber Green Tea Cocktail. It’s a mixture of their Summer Nights Iced Tea Packs, Lemon, Cucumber, and Vodka (the recipe comes in the box*). I had to add a little more tea because it was a kick in the pants, but light and refreshing is how it tasted.

New Moon Tea was started by founder Christine Riediger in 2014 with a small tea stand at the local farmers’ market. As a professional horticulturist, she became an herbalist after crafting and mixing natural tea blends that benefited the whole body. Using only the best ingredients, she and her team have continued to create fresh, organic holistic blends.

They are located in Chilliwack, British Columbia where their farm is. Striving to use sustainable agriculture and local farms to bring the most natural products to the table is a way of life for them. Being involved in their community is engrained in their company and they work with other organizations that are dedicated to conscious awareness. New Moon Tea has one retail location and sell’s through stores nationwide.

I’m currently crushing over their New Moon Tea Co. Mug ($34.99)

And this Cranberry Orange Tea ($10.99) that looks like it would be perfect for fall.
