With this being National Garlic Day, you have a very valid excuse to run around with horrid garlic breath to all your meetings and even eat it on your date tonight. I mean, not eating garlic today would be like not eating candy at Halloween, or not having a ton of pie on July 4th. Why would that ever be a good idea? Exactly, it’s not. So indulge in this delicious, delicious condiment and let the garlic smell permeate the kitchen. It’s time for some garlic recipes!

DIY Garlic Powder by Joybilee Farm

I have this crazy dream of growing as many of my fruits, veggies, herbs, and spices at home as I can, which obviously means I’ll be playing LOTS OF GARLIC. If you are growing garlic, you’ll likely find you have a ton of it. Do yourself a favor and make some homemade garlic powder! You’ll need a food dehydrator for this.

Roasted Garlic by Will Cook For Friends

I swear, I can eat multiple heads of roasted garlic in one sitting and not get tired of it. It’s just so mellow, so sweet, so perfect. Keep this on hand for any recipe that calls for roasted garlic, or if you need to tone down some of the garlic in a recipe you can use half roasted and half raw garlic.
