On February 24 Russia began its attack on Ukraine. Like many of you here in the US I felt heartbroken, angry, and helpless. These are a few ways you can offer real support to the people of Ukraine.
- Ukraine Criss Relief Fund – Donation will help “affected communities in Ukraine, with a focus on the most vulnerable, including children, who need access to food, medical services, and psychosocial support.”
- International Rescue Committee – “The IRC is on the ground in Poland and preparing to support displaced families.”
- Save the Children – “Your donation today can help provide children and families with immediate aid, such as food, water, hygiene kits, psychosocial support and cash assistance. Together, we can protect children in crisis.”
- Razom – “Razom, which means “together” in Ukrainian and serves as a constant reminder of the community that it takes to create, build and do, to stay the path towards a more prosperous and democratic Ukraine.”
- The International Committee of the Red Cross – “Our teams now in Ukraine will continue their work to repair vital infrastructure, support health facilities with medicines and equipment, and support families with food and hygiene items.”
- Revived Soldiers Ukraine – “To provide medical aid and sustainable living standards to soldiers of Ukraine and members of their families. “
- Nova Ukraine – “Support Ukraine in its effort to build a strong civil society, to reform its educational system, and to eliminate corruption.”
- Sunflower for Peace – “Provides first-aid backpacks to doctors and paramedics on the front line.”
- The Kyiv Independent – “We vow to serve as the true, independent global voice of Ukraine.”
- United Help Ukraine – “United Help Ukraine (UHU) is working to provide life-saving individual first aid kits (IFAKs containing blood-stopping bandages and tourniquets) and other emergency medical supplies to the front lines.”
