Chips and salsa. I could eat chips and salsa all day, every day, any which way. I am bringing you my favorite salsa pins today and seriously, you just have to try them. I know, I can hear you asking me now, “But Kathy, why can’t I just pop open a jar?” You guys, fresh salsa, is EVERYTHING. You won’t regret any one of these recipes, pinky swear!
Homemade Fresh Tomato Salsa | Little Broken
The first time I made chunky salsa like this I was apprehensive. But it’s so fresh, so light, and fits so nicely on a chip! I would pair this salsa with a basic corn chip or white corn chip.
Fresh Authentic Salsa Verde | Confessions of a Foodie
So verde! If you haven’t tried verde anything before, start here. I love verde enchiladas and salsa. This recipe is amazingly light with just the right kick. Verde salsa is so yummy with a blue corn chip!
Fiesta Corn and Avocado Salsa | Sally’s Baking Addiction
This recipe is not only gluten free, but it’s also an excellent vegan recipe. The avocado gives the salsa a unique taste. If you love guacamole but want something a bit lighter, you will love this! Okay, don’t side-eye me too hard, but with this salsa I like a sweet potato chip. They are delicious!
Fresh Mango Salsa | Cookie and Kate
So, fruit salsa. It has a special place in my heart. You can eat it at dinner, for dessert, or for a snack, and it’s completely kid-friendly. Mango has a great tangy taste and lends itself more to a “regular” salsa than any other fruit I have tried. Mango salsa is excellent with a blue corn or a wheat chip, and you can also give cinnamon crisps a shot, too.
Strawberry Mango Salsa | Damn Delicious
This fruit salsa has a sweet, surprise twist of strawberries. Damn Delicious is one of my favorite places to get recipes. I have yet to find a recipe that wasn’t a winner ,and this salsa was no exception! With strawberry salsa, I need to balance it with a nice salty chip, maybe with a twist of lime.
If you have a favorite recipe share it below! I would love to hear about it!
