In a chaotic and uncertain world, it helps to remember that good things are happening around us all the time. We think it’s important to pay attention to the good stuff. Here’s a roundup of uplifting stories to cheer your heart.
An 11-year-old boy documents every dog he’s ever petted on his Twitter account
If you’re having a bad day, go take a look at this (parent-supervised) Twitter account belonging to a boy named Gideon who loves dogs so much that he keeps a record of each dog he pets. You’re welcome.
I pet Befana. She is a 10 month old Caucasian Ovcharka. Her caregiver researched the breed for years before getting her. Ovcharkas were used to guard livestock, but Befana chases the family’s chickens. She is a fierce guard dog at home, but friendly and sweet when out. pic.twitter.com/AK5mdqwiEn

A baby pink dolphin has been spotted in Louisiana!
A pink female dolphin (appropriately named “Pinky” by spectators) was first spotted in Louisiana in 2007. She was thought at first to be an albino but may in fact have a rare genetic condition that causes her unusual coloring. A pink dolphin calf has also been seen, which leads many to assume that Pinky has had a baby.
The video below, posted by Thomas Adams on Facebook, shows two dolphins leaping in the Calcasieu ship channel.
After a nurse stopped to help them following a terrible accident, bikers show up to her daughter’s lemonade stand to show their thanks
In 2018, Daryn Sturch and her young daughter Bryanne happened upon a group of motorcyclists who had been injured in an accident. Fortunately for several members of the Milwaukee Iron club, Sturch is a nurse. She stopped to render aid, noting that their wounds were serious. A year later, 30 bikers from Milwaukee Iron surprised 8-year-old Bryanne and her mom by showing up at a lemonade stand Bryanne was running in order to raise money to buy equipment for her horse. Mother and daughter were both deeply touched by the unexpected visit.
