Jennifer Weiner is one of my favorite authors. Her novels always have some humor, mystery, family drama, and a page-turning plot, making them perfect summer beach reads! Her latest novel, “That Summer” does not disappoint.
Daisy knows she’s blessed; she has a thriving business, a beautiful home, a smart daughter, and a hard-working husband. Yet, she can’t sleep at night and is having a terrible time figuring out where her dissatisfaction is coming from. When she starts receiving emails meant for another woman, whose lifestyle she envies, an unlikely friendship blooms. But is this other woman’s life really all that enviable? And was their online meeting truly just by chance or is there a far more meaningful (and disturbing) reason these two women cross paths? Daisy will question everything she knows about her “perfect life” and discover that she is far more capable than anyone ever gave her credit for.
I think you will love “That Summer” just as much as I did. If you’d like your own copy of this novel, share your summer plans with us in the comments below and one lucky winner will be chosen at random to receive a hardcover edition of Jennifer Weiner’s latest novel. Good luck and happy summer!

My summer plans is actually kinda boring. I’m returning home from an extended weekend visit in Montana and I live an hour from the Oregon Coast. Been living in this town for a year but its been 21 years since my toes have wiggled in the sand. I plan to rent an airbnb and hit the beach, eat at Mo’s Chowder House and buy a bunch of salt water taffy! A JW book or two will be perfect companions.
