Music is powerful. It has the power to make us laugh, cry, dance, and drive faster. It also has the power to make us think, ask questions, and challenge authority. Music can take you back to an easier time in your life, or help you through the challenges you are facing right now. Music can be “of the moment” or “timeless,” but  no matter what kind of music you enjoy, music can be healing and inspiring.

In the infamous words of Paul McCartney, “Some people want to fill the world with silly love songs. And what’s wrong with that?”  Hate them or love them, guilty pleasure or cringe-worthy, love songs are here to stay.
