Live Simple Tees came from big dreams. Natalie Nicholson’s first business venture began in 2008 with a shop called Bucketheads. With support from her family, and a few bumps along the way, she opened the retail store in the Mall of Abilene. Realizing her love for design and screen tees, she and her partner Jessica Taylor decided to open up Bucketheads Screen Printing for their local area. A few months into that adventure, they realized that they wanted to design and sell their own tees. Live Simple Tees was born. With a keen eye for fun and simple logos and a love for the feeling only a comfortable tee can give you, they set out to take their business across the country. Their inspiration comes from life experiences you can relate to, from a vacation in the mountain range to a cocktail on a white sand beach. They work hard to design their tees in line with their motto, “Live Simple.” They strive to find the highest quality product for tees you’ll be happy to live in. Their belief that “All you need is a comfortable tee with good inspiration to change your mood and realize life is too short to not just live simply” is something that people forget all too often. I am glad to be able to get behind it.

Live Simple Tees review by Sweatpants And Coffee

Jessica Hancock chooses happy in the form of a comfy tee and an iced white chocolate mocha with whip.

Live Simple Tees are average price for a small company. Their tees run between $20-24 and $5 for standard shipping. They also ship out your order extremely quick. I’m in California, and I got mine in 3 days. None of this waiting for two to three weeks for an awesome shirt to show up. When I find something I love, I want to wear it NOW!

The ladies were kind enough to send out two different designs, and I absolutely LOVED them both. The first one was this awesome (and obvious choice) charcoal marble v-neck that reads “Coffee, I’m in love” in a sweet heart.

It also comes in a heather slate (blue-ish grey) color that is beautiful as well! The V-neck does not dip too low, which is something I’m always concerned about, being only 5’ 1. The fit itself is loose and long, just the way I like my tees. That way when I go to bend over to grab something I don’t have to worry about the infamous “whale tale” that so often happens when the back of your pants slides down and the back of your shirt goes up, inevitably showing off your underwear. That is not going to happen with this these.

The second tee comes in a flattering heathered raspberry color and reads “Choose Happy”. Short, simple, and to the point. Also a nice little reminder whenever you look into the mirror. This tee is a crew neck and the fit is the same. Longer length with a little more fitted sleeves.

Now let’s talk about comfort. Here at Sweatpants and Coffee, comfort is important to us, and after trying out Live Simple Tees it is obvious that comfort is important to the, too. Both styles are unisex fit and come in a polyester-cotton blend. I washed them both in warm, inside out, and medium heat dry, and there was no obvious shrinking or peeling on either of them. Another thing I love about them is the bigger range in sizes. They go from Adult Small up to an Adult 3XL. No one will feel left out here, and I love that.

These tees get the Sweapants & Coffee seal of approval. Even better? Right now they are offering free shipping on all orders for the month of May! Head over to Live Simple Tees and use the promo code FREESHIPMAY with your order.
