Indie rock band The Filthy Souls have been shaking things up in Los Angeles this past year since releasing their single ‘Destroy You’, which has been featured on KROQ’s Local Only show with Kat Corbett and of course hitting clubs up and down the Sunset Strip.
After listening to their EP on repeat several times Cold Heart and Destroy You were initially the standout songs to me. Their sexy rock melodies are the reason they have the ability to get the crowd to sway along – not an easy feat when it come to the LA audience. But as of late, it’s the ramped up anthem driven song ‘Boys Are Out For A Fight’ I’ve been blaring on the iPod at full volume.

Despite their rocker ways, The Filthy Souls do have a softer side. Their song Monsters gets me. It’s a beautiful ballad about anyone who deals with some form of fear.
Without a doubt The Filthy Souls are talented musicians who create great music and have the ability to get the crowd out of their seats and dancing with their sexy yet hard edged melodies. At every live show, the audience knows they’re witnessing the humble beginning of a band on the rise.
